I bought these pumps to fit an 80 gallon splitter tank with a 20 gallon sump. I was afraid they would be too small but they do their job well. I bought 3, the problem is they are very difficult to adjust, the knob is very difficult to turn and one of my tanks always has a very high water level. This is a rimless tank and the water comes in within 1/4 inch of the top. When I adjust the pump it goes too low, about 1 1/2 inches below the ledge. So either too slow or too fast. The other two were ok by default. Not loud as I expected and I prefer some color to just black.
