Although it's actually a very quiet device, it doesn't achieve the 10 feet of buoyancy it claims to have. I have a standard 3 tier fountain that is 56 inches high and it barely bubbles at the top. The water penetrates the levels at such a low speed that it is hardly noticeable and therefore the desired fountain effects are not achieved. suitable for aquariums etc but not fountains. Not a good buy for this application.

Have only used this pump for one session so far but it pumps enough water for its physical size. Over time we will see how well it works and how long it will last. We have an aquaponic garden so we use a lot of water and air pumps. I haven't tried High Head Flow yet. All the movement of the water we did in the first session was from tank to tank, most being about 1 1/2 feet of the head. We used 3/4" ID tubing and it worked well. Perhaps we'll edit this review over time.

I bought this pump for my marine aquarium. It serves as return from my sump to my 75g tank. The flow rate is adjusted with a dial on the front of the tank. It also includes multiple barb sizes (3/4”, 1/2 and other smaller sizes) to accommodate different hose sizes. The pump is all the way down otherwise it empties my pan in seconds. I've also used it to drain a 55g tank and it will pump out that water in minutes.

I bought these pumps to fit an 80 gallon splitter tank with a 20 gallon sump. I was afraid they would be too small but they do their job well. I bought 3, the problem is they are very difficult to adjust, the knob is very difficult to turn and one of my tanks always has a very high water level. This is a rimless tank and the water comes in within 1/4 inch of the top. When I adjust the pump it goes too low, about 1 1/2 inches below the ledge. So either too slow or too fast. The other two were ok

I used this product as the water condenser recirculator in my chemistry set. I didn't want to hook it up to a faucet and pour a bunch of water back down the sink. I put it in a bowl of ice water - the instructions say it must be completely submerged in water - and the output goes to the condenser and the return goes straight back into the bowl.
