These slides fit my 10 year old (4th grade) very well. My son is an avid reader who has not been diagnosed with dyslexia. However, when I read aloud, I noticed that he seemed to have minor problems: he would skip words and sometimes a line of text, although he read enthusiastically, with no comprehension problems. So I bought these sheets on a whim just to see if they could help - wow! The transparencies provide a significant improvement in the ability to read aloud smoothly. We bought a multicolor set and it was a good choice as it allowed me to lay random transparencies over text he'd never seen before and quickly determine which color suited him best. My son even said he really likes the line on the sheets because it keeps him from missing sentences: I really didn't think the line on the slides could be any good. So I would also recommend these sheets to those parents who may not have a severe dyslexia diagnosis: Transparencies seem to help in many ways, so this is what anyone who wants their children to be at their best needs needs.
