DO NOT BUY! Uneven voltage is sent - destroying peripherals

I cannot warn enough about purchasing this device. After my company transitioned to remote work due to COVID-19, I needed an inexpensive and easy solution to share peripherals between my home and work PCs. It seemed like the perfect solution. boy was i wrong! I bought this in March. At the beginning of June I had sound problems on my home PC with an older version of the SoundBlaster X-Fi Titanium. It's about the soldier who has NO problems. Well, it turns out this crappy little device was sending an uneven voltage through the wires and blew my card. In fact, there are burn marks. It annoyed me a lot! Over the last month I've noticed a lot of issues with both the Logitech gaming mouse (less than a year old) and the G-19 keyboard. Not vanity stuff, but real function stuff like losing some keyboard USB ports or the mouse just randomly stopped working. On Friday my keyboard stopped working. This is a powered keyboard, but even with power it doesn't work. Not on my laptop dock, laptop, home pc (USB front and back). This thing claims to be USB powered. Well, apparently the same problem. The uneven tension killed him. The mouse was pretty bad and is dead today. So those are the three pieces of gear I lost as a result. I didn't need anything fancy. Just something to swap the sound, mouse and keyboard. I'm just thankful I didn't let my video loop through and let it kill my cards there. In short, don't believe in it. You will only mess up your peripherals. Get a powered USB hub if you're in my boat. This will save you a lot of heartache and money.
