Review on All-Clad Textiles Kitchen Towel, 1-Pack, Cornflower Blue by Michelle Bell

I recently bought 3 of these kitchen towels, love their colour, size, pattern look, weave and embroidery. ALL CLAD is a nice touch. However, I washed them as soon as I received them according to the label instructions. When I finished drying them there were 3-4 threads sticking out at the edges of each towel - no end of the world - I tied them together and cut them off. The main issue I have is that they are only slightly softer than the 5 year old towels they replace! Additionally, All-Clad states on all product pages that they are made in the USA, except for this item, there is only a small mention of "imported" in the product description. These towels are made in Turkey, undoubtedly at a greatly reduced price. All Clad sets US manufacturing prices for imported goods. If I could return them I would, but that's my fault, I didn't investigate further to find out they are actually NOT made in the USA so I'll keep them - my fault. At almost $10 per towel I was expecting Rolls Royce kitchen towels, what I got was just a small upgrade from some towels I paid for 0.50 cents at my local big store over 5 years ago. TL:DRPros: large size, hanging loop, nice design. Cons: crumbles after first wash, NOT MADE IN AMERICA, not very soft yet.
