What I didn't like: Mounting and sealing holes don't match the wheelbase of my '73 Super Beetle. For the pump I used a rat tail file to open up the holes towards the center and manifold. As for the gasket, I used a pump to lower it. The orientation of the connectors is questionable, both connectors need to be routed between the distributor and the crankshaft pulley to ensure the hose is routed away from the hot engine. pump, the gasket will stick to the metal and break so you should have a spare kit and if you are buying a new pump make sure the gaskets are included. This review is only about the installation, I will comment on the flow and pressure stability at the latest.
