Review on Imperial Premium Intake Built PA 4W by Elijah Pope

I ordered this to replace an existing 6" cover that had recently been damaged in a hail storm. I was also looking for an improvement over my current vent cover. The cover sits directly at deck level, so the little critters have perfect access to the house. That is the main reason I bought this cover as it has a wire mesh insert. Bad news first, as others have pointed out that the holes are about 1/4 inch, which some critters can still fit through. Now for the good news, I was hoping that the louvered portion of this vent would be a removable liner, and it is. Even better, there is room between the blinds and the back wall for an extra screen! I was able to insert 2 more layers of metal mesh at different angles and the blinds snapped into place with no problem. I wish some critters would try to get through this now! Rated 4 stars due to additional engineering work required. I'll try to post a photo of the finished conversion.
