Bought this adapter based on reviews. I'm glad I did. In the end it worked great. However, it didn't work initially because I bought an old HP model "refurbished" dock for $18 that turned out to have a faulty display and USB ports. Luckily the laptop had both and they worked great. The docking station, while disappointing, at least offers an additional monitor via VGA and charges the laptop in the docking station. Not bad for $18. You get what you pay for, right? The reviewers were right about this adapter and it works great.
