It's too early to talk about cats.

I only received this product a few days ago so it's too early to say how well it will work hence 4 stars. However, it smells very nice and my dog doesn't seem to mind the taste. At first he hesitated a bit, but now he drinks it without hesitation. The product arrived on time and well packaged and you get a lot for your money. I have an older dog who sees his twice daily walks as trips to pick up every piece of moldy, disgusting food he can find. He chews mint toothpaste daily to help and I'm hoping this conditioner will give him the extra boost he needs.
