This is a pretty good hitch except I have to jump on the trailer near the hitch to get it on the 2" ball, and when unhooked it cannot be removed without prying or using a jack. I was hoping it would take root, but not yet. I had it for about 30 days. The ball is 25 years old and works great with any other trailer, just a slightly smaller hitch. Another reviewer mentioned an under-hitch adjustment, but that doesn't loosen the release fit, only the pivot fit.
