Many people recommend only using BMW camshaft sensors as aftermarket sensors don't always work. The problem is that BMW camshaft sensors are about twice as expensive as aftermarket sensors. I thought Delphi was a good brand so I took a chance and tried to save some money. Big mistake. This cam sensor lasted exactly one day before it failed and almost left me stranded. I replaced it with a BMW camshaft sensor and now the car runs great. Maybe I was just unlucky, but in the future I will only use BMW camshaft sensors. At least Revain makes it easy to return defective products. For reference, my car is a 2003 BMW 325i.
