I really liked this kettle at first - it looks cool, heats water quickly and most importantly, it does the job. In the last month he started to question whether he wanted to work or not. It no longer clicks unless I touch it a few times. To this day nothing I do resets the power, touches it etc. I've checked the heater plate and everything else that might be the problem, I can't find the problem, it just doesn't work anymore - lets go no longer turn on. I only bought it 2 years ago. I understand that iPhones have started to lead people to believe electronics should only last 6 months, but planned obsolescence doesn't apply to kettles. My last kettle in Hamilton Beach lasted 10 years before I had to replace it and bought this one. Cheap low quality production. Only 2 years before the exchange? This is really disappointing. Other electronics in my kitchen have lasted for years, I was hoping this one would too. I wish there was a way to get a refund or replacement from the company, but this late in the sale I doubt they will even respond. on request.
