Pros: Came complete and working. The display is always on as long as it is connected to a power source. Being able to control the temperature with a backlit digital display is great because it looks cool, especially when you place it outside of the tank. The good thing is that the display is backlit, so the display is bright and easy to see even if you turn off the lights in the room. It's better than the digital one I had a year ago as the old one didn't have a backlight on the display. The USB cable and the metal tip for measuring the temperature are long, so you can also use them in deeper aquariums. I read they are 18 inches long although I didn't measure them. Cons: No USB adapter included, you must bring your own. By default, the temperature is displayed in Celsius. You'll have to tug a little at the back if you want it to switch to farenheight. I had to get a pair of tweezers to do this, which is a bit of a hassle. All in all this is a great product. I just couldn't measure the accuracy of the product as I don't have another thermometer to compare with. With the display always on, I'm not sure how long the light will last. However, if it is an LED, it can take years to go dark.
