I bought this over a month ago to keep an eye on my kids while they play with their friends. Problem 1 came up on day one, one of my kids came home with a broken belt clip exposing a sharp spring, no big deal, I just removed the rest of the clip. After about 1 week one of the walkie talkies fell off and the battery came loose, the little clip holding the battery broke rendering the walkie talkie unusable, no real reason to remove the battery so I just got it glued again. and it is still in use today. Fast forward to today and 3 of 4 missing belt clips and 2 batteries are stuck, overall I have to give 1 out of 4 stars for durability. It doesn't take long for the belt clip to break and if it falls out of a 6 year old's pocket the battery holder will break. As for the connection, they are clear and work at a good distance near me. I live in a larger area and when testing, my wife was able to communicate clearly with me when I was 1 mile away. Overall they could have been 5 star products if they had had a longer shelf life.
