Excellent Clarity, Quality and Price

Excellent Clarity, very clear image even behind buildings almost 1/2 mile from home when both units are outside. Also tested indoors at both ends about 1/2 mile apart and still a clear connection.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Doubtful

Don't waste your money

Garbage. 2 out of 4 won't hold a charge and won't turn on. The other two, when fully charged, give a "Check Battery" message after less than 10 minutes of use. This is absolute rubbish. There's a reason there's no way to contact the seller directly.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Perfect for kids/hiking/camping

1 out of 4 stopped working on the first day, I charged them up and turned them on. $50 for 4. I would expect them to get more life out of them than 1 day. UPDATE: After posting a 2 star review of the previous statement, I was contacted via email. I told them I didn't have time to send a radio back. They sent a new one without asking. This is amazing service as far as I can tell.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine

BE PRACTICAL! suitable for portable audio and video

We bought these 4 packs expecting to have 1 in each area, boat, car, our RV and Dad's RV. We were able to get clear reception from our RV on the GA/NC line to Hayesville, NC (5 miles). It works while the guys are in a boat on Lake Chatug (a few miles) and I am in a van. It works from one motorhome to another motorhome. This obviously doesn't work when we drive from our van to Hiawassa, Georgia through a lot of ups and downs (mountains). We would DEFINITELY buy them again.

Great product, great company!

Tested this product and was initially disappointed because the product did not match the description. After posting my experience, I received an email within a few days. Kathy's manager at Bit Trading contacted Revane to review my report. She noticed that an error had occurred and immediately began working with Revain to review and update their process for returning bit trading products. She emailed me about her findings and the decision she agreed with Revane. She sincerely apologized and sent

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Some defects

No durability. Read the review.

I bought this over a month ago to keep an eye on my kids while they play with their friends. Problem 1 came up on day one, one of my kids came home with a broken belt clip exposing a sharp spring, no big deal, I just removed the rest of the clip. After about 1 week one of the walkie talkies fell off and the battery came loose, the little clip holding the battery broke rendering the walkie talkie unusable, no real reason to remove the battery so I just got it glued again. and it is still in use…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Sun-Sun

The Best Walkie Talkie Models We Tried!

This is the third brand and model we have tried. We use walkie talkies to communicate with each other in rivers when we are fly fishing. These models looked more rigid from the start. We then charged them up and walked around the area measuring distance and sound quality. Out of the box, the audio is louder, clearer, and travels farther from home in our area than any other model we've tried. The cost is also great. 4 chargers, 4 walkie-talkies, 4 headphones for hands-free fishing. We've never…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs

Clear connection and versatility.

Purchased for use on a 5 acre lighted lot with few obstacles. They come pre-charged but we charged them overnight. It requires some assembly to remove the belt clip, but it's pretty easy. Comes with a small strap and an earpiece. When it turns on, it verbally "turns on" and then tells you what channel it's on. When you change channels, the voice will turn on to let you know which channel you've selected. Nice touch as with so many channels without it it can be difficult to make sure you are on…
