Edit: Adding a USB boost converter for charging made it much better. See photo for procedure ((at your own risk)). Alt: The DMM function seems to be working pretty well. The speakers on the first unit weren't isolated so bass sounds croaked, but they sent me a replacement. , sounds great now, sounds very full. Unfortunately, Bluetooth doesn't have any controls other than volume, so the phone shouldn't be left in your pocket, although a future firmware patch could fix this. Unfortunately, the clock only runs for 24 hours, I don't like it, but you can still use it. the volume doesn't go above 15 out of 30. When you unplug the power the device turns off and the power button should be off, wait about 5 seconds and then turn it back on to get back on battery power, both devices have done that . This is a design flaw, not a defect. On battery power, the volume increases to 30. This was the case with both the original device and the replacement device that I received. I will try to bypass the current charging system with a boost converter to charge 2 18650 batteries to avoid these last problems. I'll post photos when I'm done. Also, the refill on the right didn't have a clock/temp sticker, it was slightly skewed, they need to find a better man for factory quality control.
