I think my expectations were a little too high when I chose the HQISTAR 31.5 Inch Height Adjustable Laptop Desk/Tray (White). . Looking back, we can say that the price is $64. Let me explain: The HQISTAR arrived flat in a surprisingly small box containing the leg assemblies, crossbar, table top, table top supports and a bag of gear. It takes a few minutes to put together. Although the majority of the construction is metal, you can tell it's not designed to support very much weight - from tiny wheels to dented bolts to wheels set into threaded inserts in the tube. End caps (instead of inserts welded to the legs). does it matter? I mean, how much weight were you planning on putting in there anyway? The answer to this question is complex. I first used the stand for my 17.3" laptop. I then switched to using it for a monitor, keyboard and mouse attached to my outdoor testing and benchmark setup. The problem is in my opinion the stand isn't stiff enough for normal use without the table top 'rocking' a bit, it's not a big deal for a casual work surface (since I use it now) and kids will likely get it affect less (since their hands don't weigh that much). However, I would NOT want to use this tabletop for heavy use - the tabletop supports just don't have tubes thick enough to prevent sagging. As far as ranking goes, I think that it requires some skill. I think the cart is $64, but I think the demographic is important. If it's rolled out and used from time to time, then I think it's a n 4 star item is. However if the idea is that it is a complete table on wheels I think it is a 3 star item.
