Normally, pulling the hub out without tapping it with a hammer isn't enough, but hitting it with a hammer will void your warranty. The lecturer comes with a suitcase. Although it works pretty well. Currently the best specialty tool for this niche job and way better than killing your forearms with a slide hammer.
