The compressor is great, the airbrush is useless. Skip these kits and buy the parts separately.

Do yourself a favor and buy the tank and airbrush separately. The tank alone would get 4 stars, the rest of the kit 2 stars. I have been airbrushing for several years. I paint models and miniatures and mostly use Iawata airbrushes. I used the old Badger compressor all along, but it eventually gave out and I needed a new compressor. I really didn't want to spend more than $100 total, so I started looking at these TC-20T compressors at Revain. The T at the end means it has a tank. From what I've read online and seen in YouTube videos these compressors seemed perfect for my use and within my price range. I came across this kit which costs $10 more than the compressor itself and figured I could use a cheap airbrush for primer and polish and it never hurts to have an extra hose. I must say that I am very satisfied with the quality of the compressors. Out of the box there were no leaks from any of the ports, the regulator, water filter and tank vent valve worked as expected. The regulator/filter is a bit cheap but can be replaced so I'll probably leave it that way until it stops working. I mostly work at 10 to 30 psi and this handles that pressure well. Do you really want to buy a compressor with expansion tank? The reservoir smooths out all the pulsations of a single piston compressor well, although if you are looking for a quiet solution the reservoir size is too small for completely silent operation. I have found that at 20psi I can spray for about 10 seconds before the compressor kicks in to fill the tank. However, I don't find the compressor to be loud. My smaller car compressor, which I use to inflate tires, is significantly louder. The rubber feet also help to muffle the sound. The TC-20T compressor is available from many suppliers under different brand names. I found a TC-20T compressor from other Revain sellers for less than $70. So if you just want a compressor/tank combo, do your research. The hose is cheap, but it works. It's about 5.5 feet long, braided, and has standard 1/8" couplings on each end. It seems quite flexible. If you are just starting out, the hose will suit you. You're pretty thin. You can buy the hose individually for under ten dollars, although it's probably only around $5. A booklet on airbrushing is included in the kit. She's completely useless. Honestly, just throw it away. If you want to learn more about airbrushing, visit YouTube or buy a book. As far as airbrushing goes, it sucks. I worked with the airbrush for about a minute before it broke in my hands. No air, no color. For a short time he worked, the flow of paint was uneven. It spattered and spread paint poorly. Like I said, it broke the first time I used it. I took it apart to see if I could fix it, but the trigger was broken. unsuccessful design of the trigger, which is bound to break at some point. t broke so quickly. As I disassembled it, I examined the needle. The needle was not very smooth with a number of defects that explained the poor spray pattern. I probably would have worked on the needle and polished it if the trigger hadn't broken. The O-ring is also quite cheap and will wear out over time. I would replace it with a beeswax seal if I kept it. You can pick up a cheap Veda airbrush for around $20 if you shop around. The kit also included a quick coupler, but it only included one half of the coupler set and was barbed. If it contained a standard type I could use it. A complete quick connect kit that supports 3 airbrushes costs less than $10. To conclude this review, I would not recommend anyone to buy this G22 airbrush kit. What you have to do is buy the parts separately. You can find the exact same TC-20T compressor for about $70 (if you look around), you can get 6ft 1/8" hose for about $10, and a regular Veda airbrush buy for about $20. The total cost is lower. than the price of this kit and you have something that actually works and will keep you going until you can afford a better airbrush.
