I have to say that this wall heater really does keep out the cold in small to medium sized rooms. I bet that in a small bedroom this heater will really warm up the room. I wanted a low wattage heater for my living room and this fits perfectly. It runs day and night without a thermostat and really keeps the room warm. This is nothing more than a forced ventilation heater and will not warm you enough on a very cold day but it will keep you warm. On very cold days, 30 degrees and below, I use a 1500w fan heater as a backup in the living room to keep the room very warm. But that alone makes a big difference in medium and small rooms. I love this heater and would like a second one for my bedroom. There's no noise, it doesn't feel hot and installation wasn't too difficult. I installed it myself in 30 minutes. Make sure you turn this on at least the night before you plan to use the room it's in. because it radiates heat through space. But once it's been running for a while, the heat stays in the room and it actually gets warm. I went into a room without heating and in comparison the living room was hot on a day when the temperature didn't rise above 35 degrees.
