I bought this cradle while trying to find a sleeping solution for my son. My daughter slept great in the bassinet, but my son wasn't happy with the regular bassinet and only slept best when one of us touched him. After a cesarean section, it was difficult to keep a hand on it (although each of us slept!) With a regular cradle. We tried an in-bed carrycot, but neither my husband nor I felt safe sleeping in the bed with us. I was hesitant to spend money on an OTHER bassinet that I will be using for a month or so, but after much searching and research I decided to try this co-sleeper as it will allow me to keep my finger on the pulse. on our boy if I must. We have been using it for almost 2 weeks, everything is fine! Everyone is sleeping and we are comfortable knowing we are doing it safely! The height is just perfect for our mattress and it's super easy to put in and take out! Pros: - Assembly was easy. Came and installed in 20 minutes. It comes in a nice carry case (see photo) but I'm not sure what for. You have to take it apart a bit to put it back together. However, the carry case helps keep my pesky cats at bay during the day! (Apparently they don't understand that I didn't buy it for them) - The mattress isn't hard as a rock! It's supportive and soft to the touch. My son slept great on it. - We use a motion sensor under the mattress and the mattress allows it. - High quality! The materials are of high quality and do not look cheap. Cons: - Depending on your area, it's a bit big. I lean it against the bedside table and land about ΒΎ the length of our bed. Even though it has wheels, I can't unlock the locks in the bed, so it's hard for me to move if I have to get up in the middle of the night. Also, I don't want to move it and wake up a sleeping baby! Instead I have to try to crawl/squirm to the foot of the bed while trying not to wake my son. mesh amount. The mesh lining is only on the side that is rolled up to the bedside table. However, the overall size is large so you really need to have the baby moving to get to the edges (as you can see in a picture; my son is about 24 inches long and 13 pounds for reference). This isn't a problem/problem, but maybe for some. Overall I would recommend this to anyone considering a cradle!
