Didn't realize the o-ring could come out of the blender base; Definitely had to be replaced as soon as I saw the old one. The replacement looks about the same as the original and seems to seal well too. I tried plain water first - no leakage. I made liquid salad dressing and thick porridge, no way it leaked. As long as it works as intended.
