This product did not meet my expectations. The ice tray is difficult to fill. This is because the squares within the experiment are the same height as the outside edge. This leaves no extra space like traditional ice cube trays where the outer rim is slightly higher than the inner squares. Spills on the way to the freezer are almost inevitable. In addition, the ice is very difficult to remove. It doesn't eject smoothly and requires a lot of flexing and manipulation of the silicone shell. It also results in having to grab a few ice cubes with your hand, and when you're making company drinks, you definitely don't want to pick up someone's ice cubes. That's right, the work of extracting them is not worth the work. If the edges were higher so the attempt could be filled evenly, then it might be worth removing the cubes. But in the end it's just not worth it.
