This stuff is really flimsy. I had to double it twice (gathering 4 strands together) to make it thick enough that it doesn't look like crappy yarn with shiny thinning hair. It also broke a few times while I was holding it. It took me no effort to break it up, leaving a few short pieces that I couldn't use. It's not the thick, heavy tinsel I grew up with. it's garbage
