I got this as an addition to my new F7 as my jeep didn't come with steering wheel controls. Installation couldn't be simpler, nicer and easier. The device fitted my handlebars easily, although the back end of the tape was slightly longer. However, you can leave it as is, cut or pin. You decide. Connectivity and operation are good, although it's easy to unintentionally turn the volume wheel with your hand or finger while steering, but I've found that incorrect placement isn't usually a huge problem. The magnet that holds the device to the base could be stronger as it can rotate in a non-standard position. I also wish it would glow better and longer at night. All in all, it's not too expensive for additional controls if you can get them to work in your application. This worked for me.
