I bought this for card making and photo cutting - both require straight edges. It will NOT cut a straight edge. There is a definite curve/bend in the cut. Relatively light weight, handle makes it easy to carry. However, since all sides are rounded, it's difficult to store away when you need counter space. All sides have been designed to be rounded in some way. Also, the handle isn't the same as in the picture, it's a weird open shovel handle that sticks out of the edge again and doesn't let it stand on that side. Various and many distinctions are useful. for bulk card/photo cutting, but cutting a really straight line is why you buy this. And of course, in most cases, the return costs are almost the same as the products, so storing or sending them back is a waste of time.
