Good but not strong
I find chinchilla wood quite brittle/thin. I mean, they don't care if it "dangles" a bit when they bounce off it. I have since found that you can buy custom made shelves like this from various places on the internet which are thicker and therefore better in my opinion. I've made a few myself too. But if you need something quick, this works.
