My kids and I enjoyed trying out these microscopes. We had a hard time concentrating while zooming in, but enjoyed looking at items from our nature tray (leaves, feathers, rocks, shells, etc.). A whole new world has opened up at a very affordable price. It doesn't come with a lanyard, so we'll need to find one before we head out. I love that they don't have to share them like we share our binoculars. Have to order some slides to see how well they work. If possible, we plan to order a set for my grandmother's class. I bet her students will love her too.
