So it's been an adventure, and mostly not a very good one. 18 year old pickup. I actually like this pickup, but as far as decks go, a lot has changed since then. I need navigation that's easy to see and distracting without my streaming music. Well, the first deck I got was rubbish. I bought this one to replace it (and it was discounted by less than $100, less than the first!). This deck is MUCH better. Both the software and the feel of the materials. The connection is more reliable than my 2018 VW. This deck connects securely and quickly to my Android Auto (Galaxy S21), has a pretty decent UI, and looks well installed. There is an independent GPS and a rear camera. I haven't set up the camera yet. I think it costs double what I paid and the only negative I noticed is that some of the menus are difficult to navigate. But I just studied - the connection to the phone was just a touch. There is no particular need for a menu.
