I have not gotten it to glow yet, but it has a nice heft and weight. In "real life" the craftsmanship is as good as it is in the product images. It is really cute and makes a great gift, but as a bookmark it is a bit clunky. Not because it is poorly made or anything, but just the design does not lend itself to being a bookmark. But still, it is nice.Solid silver-like feel, and the stones are nicely done. Kind of a milkish grey-white "almost moonstone" color. I really need to try harder to make it glow. Perhaps someone else has had better luck than I have. But there are no flash marks (molding imperfections) or sharp edges. This really is well-crafted. I think you will like it. You see how big it is, and the product shots are accurate. Nice an weighty—if a bit awkward feeling. Again, great gift.
