You know, Pioneer, as always, tries hard to impress me. These speakers had all the necessary hardware to install them in my very odd doors. They work great in any weather. I drowned my truck up to the doors in a pond and got the carpet wet while driving off-road. These speakers STILL WORK, HOLY COW! I see a lot of mixed feelings about bass, but for myself I drive a 4-door Dodge Dakota. It's a medium sized truck, so maybe the space has something to do with it, maybe not. However, the bass is really there. My arms, back and buttocks vibrate. In addition, the high frequencies are simply outstanding. I listen to a lot of the same songs and with these speakers I've heard sounds that I've never heard before with my OEM speakers. If you are looking for a high quality and affordable pair of speakers for your car with excellent treble and bass quality. This is exactly what you were looking for.
