Rated 3 stars because the rear of the speaker enclosure is larger than previous models I have purchased making it unsuitable for older car door cut outs for a speaker of the same type are size. either make the speaker fit for everything, or make a model fit for older cars. Annoyingly, the speakers aren't embedded flush and it's likely to rattle at some point. The bracket that came with it didn't help either. expected more from a pioneer. Never had this problem with their 6x9s.

Recently fitted to my son's Pathfinder. His old speakers, which I assumed were stock, always sounded terrible. Eventually all the speakers blew up and we had to replace them. Wanted to keep costs down but with a redesigned main unit and subwoofers something high quality was needed. Installation was very easy and the sound quality was way better than what I expected from $50 speakers. Its old speakers were terrible and the upgraded main unit blew them up, so I expect them to last a lot longer…

I used 4 of these on my 2011 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited Electra-Glide. I connect them to a Pioneer DEH-5100bt head unit. You will need to purchase 6.5" adapter rings to fit the fairing, but they CAN fit the Tour Pack speaker cavity in place of the stock 5.25 speakers without modification. Just remove the old speakers and fit them right into your touring pack. You know, Pioneer, as always, tries hard to impress me. These speakers had all the necessary hardware to install them in my very odd doors. They work great in any weather.
