I like the idea of emergency communication at home. My wife and I are getting older and have fallen several times in our house. We install these lifeguards in case we fall again, my spouse and I can warn each other if there is another fall. No, this device will not alert the local fire and ambulance services, but is great for keeping older couples safe. The call button is a bit larger than I expected. No more accidentally pressing the alarm button while sleeping. Worth the investment. Now we both have the confidence to call each other for help if we fall at night. I would give 5 stars if the signal buttons were a little smaller. A great idea!
