I had to adjust the hinge so it was long enough to fit our bowl. Did it, no problem. Assembled as shown. All is well. After about a month, the seat is so loose that every time you sit down, you're going to ride. But the most interesting thing is that he somehow managed to twist himself back into a shorter position so that he no longer fits in the bowl! I'm still confused as to how this happened. So I took it off again, aligned the holes to fit the bowl AGAIN, attached the cheap crappy neoprene nuts (which I HATE) and put it back in place. If it moves again I'll throw it away and write it off as another "Made like Mist in China" purchase and find something else. I'm tired of rolling on the bathroom floor and working on this stupid thing.
