Review on Under Armour Challenger Jacket Graphite Boys' Clothing : Jackets & Coats by Darin Marshall

Fashion over function, expensive but not hateful

My daughter is a huge fan of UA while I tend to think their products are good but overpriced. This jacket didn't change either of us. My daughter is a YL size and that's exactly what we got. It suits her well with a little oddity. For us, the main problem is that the shoulders appear narrow. Not critical, but a little irritating on her armpits because of that. The arms are long enough and maybe a bit long. She loves it as it's a style now and seems to raise the shoulder. Otherwise it seems to be the right cut. This zipper is plastic and runs smoothly without snagging except where the elastic waistband connects to the actual jacket. It stops there and focuses on further unpacking, which is a bit annoying. There are two front pockets conveniently positioned in the right position and two inside pockets, one on each side. The ribbed cuffs at the neck, wrists and waist aren't tight or constricting, they don't stretch, just almost fashionably. as a function. The tag says it's a loose fit, and as for the torso, that's right. The shell of this jacket feels strangely robust. It doesn't itch, just a weird polyester feel. The inside is soft and feels nice, but overall the jacket is thin. Nice jacket for early fall, late spring but nothing to keep you warm beyond that. The MSRP for this jacket is $60, which is insane. The jacket was made in Indonesia and is made of 100% polyester. Wash and dry with clothes of the same color, zip up and turn inside out.
