This car inverter seems to be all I want. It has a three-pin socket (along with a pair of two-pin sockets). It has four USB ports, each rated at 2.4 amps. It has two "cigarette lighter" sockets, so you double your car socket. Did you notice I said "seems"? Well, the instructions do not correspond to this particular model. So he tells me I get 120 watts to power my laptop. Just take a look. It doesn't say directly that I can draw 9.6 amps from the USB ports at the same time. It doesn't really say how much I can draw at once with any combination of ports. Will it do what I need on my next trip? Just take a look. So far it's getting 2+ amps and at least 1 amp out at the same time from the USB ports because I can charge my iPad and iPhone at the same time.
