I have a medium size for my 14lb poodle pup. At the time of writing this review she is 4.5 months old. I followed the size chart and went for a medium size. My puppy is longer than it is wide. The girth of the coat is perfect. The smallest adjustment parameter suits her, and it seems that she will grow into it well, without growing out of it. I like that the coat has straps with buckles instead of velcro. The back zip is handy for accessing your harness to attach your leash. Although the width is perfect, I would like it longer. I was hoping the coat would end up just above her cock but it looks like it will be more like a vest for her when she grows up. She wore it in the snow for about 15 minutes. While the outer part of the cloak got wet and soaked with water, her fur underneath stayed dry. Update 1 week: The coat has withstood snow and rain. She rolled on the wet floor and played with another puppy, and the fur kept her from getting wet. Wednesday is too short. I will buy a large size. If you're buying this coat for your dog, I recommend going up a size.
