Bought this remote to replace a 2003 Tacoma remote. I programmed it myself in 5 minutes. Made a few tries but the instructions were easy to follow. I bought this after changing the battery in my OEM remote multiple times but still had to be within 2ft for it to even work semi stable. I heard that for some reason a new remote might be the solution. It was. Once programmed, this remote will work at least 30 feet away and possibly further. For the price, this is an incredible deal. An empty plastic case to carry the parts of my old remote cost only slightly less than this. For a little more I got a brand new remote control with battery, long range and easy programming. It's definitely worth it! Thank you to this company for providing an alternative to the obscenely expensive OEM remote and dealer programming costs. Excellent goods. I'll definitely unsubscribe in time if anything changes and update my review, but for now I'm very satisfied!
