Open the package, go to website for instructions. To program it, you need to open/close the door, enter the key: exit, etc. several times and in a specific order (and with a timer). It worked great on the first programming attempt. Tip: Print out the instructions! It's much easier to read from a page on the dashboard than a phone when you're trying to hurry and open the door, close the door, put the key in, pull the key out.

I got the installation guide from their website. I think it's best to print them out because if you play around with your phone while trying to read and follow the instructions, you will either misread the instructions or not follow the instructions at the right time. In any case, the instructions are clear and concise. It worked so well I ordered another for another keychain we have.

I bought this to replace a working key fob that had a broken case. Be sure to check the part number on the key fob to ensure this replacement is compatible. The Keyless 2Go key fob is almost identical to the original (OEM) key fob. Delivered on time and securely packaged. The OEM key fob has an LED indicator that shows if the key fob is working. replacement not. It would be nice to have a spare too. Bought this remote to replace a 2003 Tacoma remote. I programmed it myself in 5 minutes. Made a few tries but the instructions were easy to follow. I bought this after changing the battery in my OEM remote multiple times but still had to be within 2ft for it to even work semi stable.
