Should have followed the negative reviews about the design of this specimen. Overall it's attractive, looks sleek and functional, but don't let the looks fool you. The inner ring that holds the ground coffee filter basket looks removable, but it's not. So you end up with about an inch of the inside of the bottle that is absolutely impossible to clean by hand, and that creates a lip that traps those random coffee particles and sediment. So if you don't have to rinse and empty it many times to get a good clean, start your next cold brew batch with some leftover dirt from the previous container. Some people have complained about the gap between the grinder basket and the interior. a collar that allows crumbs to float and fall into the drink, making it difficult to add water when you've already put a full basket in. I was able to use this gap as a workaround and redirect the water I filled the bottle with into this gap to prevent soil from accidentally getting into the bottle. If you don't drink cold drinks often, this could be a problem. an inexpensive alternative for you, but if like me you drink it daily in warm weather, skip this option.
