Revainrating 5 out of 5

Enjoy playing Fender

No ratings but I took a chance. So much to like here, just a few little quibbles. Pros: Standard ABS fender, strong, didn't stand on it, didn't wear out completely or anything, but I've been riding and dragging my XR by the fender for many days and it seems like it goes all the way. . The glossy finish looks beautiful and shows up stains and scratches a little more than matte plastic, but nothing stays beautiful on a bike forever. I plan to dip it in plasti at some point. I also appreciate the total lack of logos, just a clean upper. Not sure if the thin arrows at the base add anything, would prefer a totally smooth look and you still need to know which direction your wheel is pointing forward :) Cons? Well, it's still expensive compared to other plastic parts in the world, but much cheaper than other OW rigid fenders. I haven't used other fenders, so I don't know if there's a big difference between models with ABS. Obviously it's not carbon fiber. Seems pretty darn strong, sticks dirt to dirt so it's ok. I also have Proride grips, which are thicker than regular grip tape. The included 3/4" 10-32 screws aren't really long enough to securely attach the fender with a thick gasket. The fender came loose on descending the trail, prop and spacers disappeared into the desert. HomeDepot has a variety of 1"10-32" screws which work perfectly. So wish longer screws were included for the thicker grips. And I appreciate black gloss but white would be deadly. Finally the guys working on this wing have up their game Emails replied which is amazing They look like skate dudes and not a fake factory which is a big plus.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not bad
