I have bought several sets of candles and I keep feeling that there is not enough information. There are essential oils in this set, but the bottles are standard and there is little information on where they came from or how they were processed. The same goes for the dyes in the kit. I came to terms with it, The Crucible and Spoon work well. I used it in a tin can with a double boiler to boil the pot and melt the wax. The beeswax seems to be taking longer to melt than my soy wax. Also, beeswax burns much longer than my comparable soy candles. This kit included a large number of wicks, which I really appreciate. They don't have a weight or caliber, but it takes 2-3 to fill my 3 inch cans. The jars provided are not suitable for non-flame retardant surfaces but are pleasant to the touch and I like them for outdoors with citronella. I would take this kit again although seems to be missing a metal aligner or wick clips. They can be purchased separately but if included they would be added to the set. although I think one thing is missing is the metal rails or wick clips.
