These pads work GREAT to protect the mattress from getting wet! We use these pads under the fitted sheet but on top of the mattress pad and they absorb all the wetness so the mattress and mattress pad stay dry! I slip these pads out from under the fitted sheet if they get wet so I can wash them or at the very least, can let them air out for the day since it says not to let them stay wet.My sons love that they are soft so they don’t feel them underneath and they aren’t crinkly or noisy at all either!The only thing I would caution you to is just to give the pads plenty of time to air dry (at least 4-6 hours) after washing since they can’t go in the dryer and you don’t want to put them back on the bed if they are damp.These pads work better than any waterproof mattress cover we’ve tried before!
