I use this as a travel charger for my HP Elitebook G3 1080. It takes around 65 watts to charge adequately and they tend to be bulky. GHU is a simple charger that is more compact. My laptop doesn't recognize the charger as an HP product, but it's better than the OEM type. Update after 3 months of use: One of the 2 electrical pins on the plug has started to deteriorate. A few small bits of plastic came out, but the pen still flips over to charge. The damage will not allow a pin to stay in the recessed position for movement and now it just dangles. For a plug that does this after a dozen or so uses, this is disappointing. I'm glad the charger still works but to be honest I don't trust it as I might not be able to charge on the go.
