Review on Fuse Replacements for Trucks, Motorcycles, and Boats by Phil Kowal

This range contains almost all large fuses of this type. The reason I bought this kit, many of you reading here probably won't believe it. This is for a 2003 van I own, no manufacturer mentioned. To make a long story short, I bought this Van Brand New in December 2003. Today it has only 32,000 miles and still runs like a new van. I recently had an issue with the ABS system on this van. As I have for many years performed most of my required mechanical work including oil, filter and brake changes and other maintenance on my vehicles, I opened the hood to remove the top of the driver's side fuse box to check whether the fuse is blown. for the ABS system. I've never looked into that fuse box. When checking and visually inspecting the box, I noticed that there is no fuse. It was the same amperage as the ABS fuse in the car. As I'm the only one who has ever worked on this van I believe the dealer I bought this van from could steal this large fuse from the van to replace the fuse they needed in the shop, on the vehicle he was working on. would miss it because their parts department might not have it in stock. The mechanic figured no one would notice he'd taken it out of its fuse holder, or perhaps planned to replace it when it came back, but never did. I never noticed anything about the van and the manufacturer's manual lists a fuse in this holder. It took me 16 years to figure that out. Some of you may laugh at this but I know exactly what I have and the car has never been serviced anywhere except by a dealer after 1 recall. I admit that it could have happened then. I can't believe it left the factory like this. This was the main reason I bought this complete Large FUSE KIT. In order to buy a fuse anywhere for the price I want I've been told to buy the whole set from Revain although foreign makes aren't much more expensive and who knows I might need a different fuse from this set for one of my other ones at some point Cars. for now.
