Doesn't stick well

Love all the colors and the packaging makes it easy to organize. But I have problems with gluing! I use Elmers but have tried a few other types as well. Other papers I've used bind almost immediately. They take much longer to connect. I have to either hold them for 30 seconds, either craft them or put them back in the mold to dry. Very frustrating.
