Best color combo ▪️Not full coverage but good layering ▪️Great texture (4.5 stars)

50s now. I've tried many different concealers over the years. This hydra concealer by Terry works well for me as it dries my eye area and adds moisture that helps hydrate and smooth my dry skin. However, with dark circles like this, I don't have the full coverage I get with my regular brand (although it might be enough for those who don't have dark circles like that). I love that I didn't have any issues with it wrinkling or looking sticky. And I actually use it a lot as the texture is quite thick and the application is smooth and creamy, plus the "medium" shade is the best color I could think of when trying it on my fair skin with an olive undertone. It looks very natural and also brightens the eye area more than my regular concealer. Because the color blends so well with my complexion and the formula offers such gentle coverage, I often use By Terry on days when I'm not using my full potential. makeup but still want to reduce dark circles under the eyes. It gives me just enough coverage so my under-eye circles don't stand out and make me look haggard. I ended up using this concealer a lot on regular days when I'm just hanging out at home, running errands, walking, etc. And when I'm wearing full makeup, I've found that I can layer terry on top of another product in mine Dark circle arsenal to get enough coverage, which looks pretty good. For example, due to the hot climate, I use Colorscience Total Eye 3-in-1 almost every day (mostly as sunscreen). It has color but I still need a concealer afterwards because it doesn't cover enough dark circles for me on its own. The nice thing is that it gives me some color correction as I'm using a 'light' shade with a peachy undertone and I get really good coverage of the under eye circles when I apply this Terry concealer via Colorscience. I also get good coverage when I apply By Terry after using a good eye primer (like Laura Geller Spackle Light/Light Primer). By Terry alone doesn't give me enough coverage as I have bad under eye circles but I'm happy with the coverage I get when layered over another product. By Terry has a brush applicator which I don't really like. I like it mostly, but I would get even more out of it if the bristles were a bit stiffer. I press the button at the bottom to apply the concealer and a hard press allows me to apply more than I need, but I'm used to pressing it to get about the right amount. The brush is soft and comfortable to use to apply the product under the eyes without touching the concealer with my finger like I do with my regular concealer that comes in a tube. I blend with a stiffer bristled concealer brush, so the brush applicator would be great if the bristles were a bit stiffer. But it's great for gently applying the product under the eyes. Although I'm picky about little things, I end up using this concealer and I'm happy with the results. 4.5 stars.
