Review on πŸ“· Professional-grade ViewSonic VP2468 Monitor for Photography with Built-In Speakers, Tilt Adjustment, Blue Light Filter, and HDMI by Daniel Oke

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great professional monitor.

I am an active computer user and an IT specialist. I have high expectations for the quality of the peripherals around me and Viewsonic did not disappoint. This monitor is a matte display with VERY accurate and vivid colors. I don't play at all so can't comment on that, but the video and lyrics are fantastic. I keep this in my home office which is fairly dimly lit and I've turned the brightness down to about 55% and it's perfect with no eye strain. The menus are a little annoying as the buttons are on the back of the monitor, but the aesthetics of this frame and the lack of buttons or indicators is a good compromise. The installation was a bit iffy: the signed driver didn't work well on Win10, but the unsigned version worked fine. Auto-rotate is a great feature and works as expected, although I don't think I'll be using it very often. I use the audio out on the monitor to connect my Sony speakers, which leaves fewer cables from my laptop (USB-C hub only!).
