Review on Sony DVP NC625 5 Disc Changer Black by William Pacino

Received this after first using the Samsung 1080I- Tried 720P with DVI connection. I have a Toshiba 51 inch. HD monitor. Samsung was very expensive and the picture quality wasn't as impressive as it should be (highest communication quality). Keep in mind that with this device, if the DVD was burned at a higher resolution, it was fine, but did little to improve older movies. SONY, on the other hand (once set up properly, which can take a while if you're unfamiliar with the new tech) makes this device impressive for its low price with picture quality that rivals Samsung, for which I paid twice as much. With DVDs recorded at higher resolutions, the picture is close to perfect, while older recordings such as TV shows (e.g. X-files) are smoothed out for better quality. This method also applies to VCDs and DVD-Rs, where quality can suffer. I highly recommend this product but be careful. Wrong setup and you won't get the best of what it has to offer.
