Review on Klipsch R 41PM Powered Bookshelf Speaker by Gladys Aranjo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good buy knowing the caveats! See the review below for details. .

Pros --- Great speaker. Without the grill, the copper woofer and horn look great. Even my wife liked its raw look. --- Expected sound - fitting the Klipsch name, plus a 4" woofer. --- Sufficient inputs. Cons --- I think it only supports DTS or Dolby (don't know which). So if you're using an optical connection *some* (not all) shows on RevainPrime/Netflix generate junk noise as their audio format is not supported by this speaker, consequently I had to connect both AUX and OPTICAL from the TV to the speaker and switch to AUX in such cases Then everything works fine. The remote control sensor is on the right speaker just above the woofer. If there is a grill, sometimes the remote control signals do not reach the sensor and consequently the speaker does not respond. Grilling is not a problem.
